Greetings and welcome to Folio---the blog of Fandescript! I thank you for taking time to visit my site today. Together, we are embarking on a series of great stories and adventures that will create all manner of emotions within us as we read and interact with the content provided. Some stories may inspire you to dream and contemplate different subject matter within your own life while others may evoke wonder, fear, love and a host of various feelings! Are you ready!?

Happy Fandescript Friday! Are you on your own personal quest or adventure? I ask this not as a question for you to answer to me but more of an inward search and consideration. As a writer of fiction and a lover of myths and stories, often I find inspiration in the tales of old concerning individuals who stood against insurmountable odds and had great difficulty in getting their goals accomplished. Whether it was to secure some ancient relic or to save a damsel in distress or for some other mattter, the deck was stacked against them in all forms. Enemies with greater powers and strength than theirs, hard environments to navigate, grueling terrain or situations to battle along with personal and internal conflicts...these are but a few of the hardships many characters (heroes and heroines) encountered in some of the most beloved tales.

How are you navigating your journey, hero or heroine? We are all such depending upon who is asked of our consideration. Another person's hero is another one's villain and vice versa. Nevertheless, consider your own tale in this question? How is your armor?  Your weapons of war? Do you have your mystical map or guidance into the dangers of the wild that await you? Are you in need of refreshing from some fabled brook of eternal strength or do you need a good rest in some tavern or inn? We are all on a journey. A quest of sorts if you will. Whether we like it or not, it is the great story of our lives as it is our lives we speak of. Fortunes await to be claimed and destiny is callign to be answered. There are struggles to battle and engage in as well as possible supporting characters who may give us aid in our expedition. Villains and opposition does abound, yes, but that is to be given.

Despite all of these things, the ebb and flow of good times and bad, it is important for you as the hero or heroine in your own story to refresh yourself along your journey. To find things that feed your heart and soul along the way as you battle evil or just deal with this mysterious thing called life, with all of its paradise and perils. How are you sowing back into yourself after every battle you win or lose daily? Are you kind to yourself in the midst of your wars? Do you reflect on past accomplishments and or failures? If so, how do you do it?

In finding answers to these questions or attempting to, I titled this blog "The Quest is to be Revered" due to the nebulous place we all are searching for called "there". When I make it "there" this will be good or great, meaning whatever station or final goal you are looking for in life or in writing will make it mean all the more once it is accomplished and done. Lessons along the way are to be chereished and held close as we are taught and told. Often it is difficult to accept such things as we all are looking for better days and things in our stories (life goals, writing, personal, etc) to help make us what we desire to be. I wonder once we reach the end of the "there" we are looking to attain, will we truly be set? There is no golden age nor era of pax eternia here on this side of the river that we can claim as ours, as nothing is permanant. Things indeed do change and we have the decision to change with them or not. Another one of the challenges in life and along the quest we are all involved in.

So they say the journey is to held in high regards and not the final destination. I'm still at odds with it, personally as a writer and a creator. Either position could be taken in my opinion. In the end, I say take each day to the max and not worry about the journey or the end result. Do the best you can with what you have and make everyday your best day in whatever goals you present yourself to be found in whether business wise or personal.

The longer we look at Cair Paraval, Minas Tirith, Neverland, Atlantis or any other literary comparisons of grandeur from our points of view in the valley, mountains, or the dregs of the pits, the further away it will seem to us. On the contrary, keep writing, keep dreaming and keep creating daily and take time to replenish your strength amidst the skirmishes and wars. Keep your head down working and moving forward daily and before you know it, you too will reach the Wakanda of your goals and ambitions, one day at a time. To you hero or heroine, wherever you are in this stage of your life, I raise my sword and pen to you in salute. Keep creating!

Until next time, the pages await you!
